Introducing UltraHeat From Slide Products
New Slide Product: High-Temp PFAS-Free Grease
The topic of PFAS ingredients, also known as “Forever Chemicals” continues to pick up traction and visibility with our customer base. The most common and familiar PFAS based ingredient is Teflon – the dry coating that provides excellent lubrication, water-repellency and chemical resistance for numerous household and industrial applications.
Slide is committed to offer products that not only meet regulatory requirements but also satisfy the needs of our customers. To that end, we are excited to introduce our newest ejector pin grease product, Slide UltraHeat Grease (part #48300T). This unique formulation is 100% PFAS-free, thermally stable to temperatures in excess of 650°F (343°C) and has NSF category H1 approval as a lubricant recommended for use in food-related molding purposes. Its ceramic base offers lubrication properties similar to Teflon without the PFAS health concerns.
Currently Slide is offering this new grease only in 14-ounce cartridge tubes (similar to Super Grease), packaged in cases containing 12 tubes. Smaller sized samples are available upon request.
Slide consistently specializes in the accelerated launch of top-tier, industry-leading products. We have the current advantage of providing this PFAS-free grease before any competitors.
Based on Slide’s market testing, the target customers for our innovative UltraHeat Grease are molders and mold makers requiring a high-operating temperature grease agent and those manufacturing in the food and medical molding spaces.
